Add information for accurate bf estimation

Add the possibility to add information in order to permit to the AI an overall accurate estimation of bodyfat through other parameters other then the pictures. E.g.:

  • Skinfold measures through caliper

  • Body measures (i.e. height, waist/hips)

  • Bf estimation through other methods (DEXA, BIA, ecography etc)

This should be just additional parameters to permit to the AI engine to make a more precise estimation in addition to the pictures

Thanks for the thoughtful suggestion — we’ve now scoped an initial approach for this.

We’re exploring an optional measurement-assisted Precision Body Fat flow where you could add dated information such as:

    Waist, hip, and neck measurements

A reference body-fat result from calipers, DEXA, BIA/smart scales, ultrasound, or another method

Body-fat readings from Apple Health where available

GainFrame would use these as additional evidence alongside your front, side, and back photos. It would not blindly replace the visual analysis with one measurement method. If the photos and measurements disagree, we’d surface that uncertainty and lower the confidence of the result.

The initial version would likely accept the calculated body-fat result from calipers rather than requiring every individual skinfold measurement. More detailed skinfold tracking could follow based on demand.

Providing measurements would remain completely optional, and the existing photos-only analysis would continue to work.

Thanks again — this is exactly the kind of feedback that helps us improve the consistency and usefulness of Precision Body Fat.
